On the Land

We will be On The Land this month, and the Culture & Language Team invite you to join! What we will be harvesting will be determined after scouting to see what is ready & available.
Lunch and beverages will be provided

Place: Meet at KLC (2475 Merritt Ave.)

Harvesting on the land requires equipment, please bring the following:
- Water bottle
- Gloves
- Clippers
- Harvesting bag
- Dress in layers
- Hiking Boots/Suitable footwear
- Camping chair
Just as a reminder while you harvest you want to think good thoughts and have good feelings as you put that energy into what you harvest and you want to ensure your medicine is harvested with this in mind. Also, due to the current wildfire situations, this event is subject to change.
* Please note - as part of our Elders teachings, if you are on your moon time please refrain from attending. We always have Elders present so we welcome you to join us for a great day harvesting and visiting with our Elders. Transportation is provided or you can join with your own vehicle.
